The mission of the Division of Undergraduate Education (DUE), led by Dean Sharon Salinger, is to enhance the quality and value of the undergraduate experience for our students. DUE provides leadership for curriculum development, enrollment growth and diversity, and technology and support for teaching and learning. DUE's departments provide academic support services and opportunities for students and faculty campus-wide and offer a first-year experience curriculum that includes freshman and transfer seminars and First-Year Integrated Programs (FIP). The TLTC is a unit within the Division of Undergraduate Education.
Network and Academic Computing Services (NACS) provides information technology leadership, expertise, infrastructure, and services in support of the research, teaching and community service goals of the University. We proactively and collaboratively work with our campus colleagues to meet or exceed the service expectations of the University of California, Irvine faculty, students, and staff.
If you need assistance with "Smart-room" technology, booking specific equipment for classrooms and/or using UCI's Anteater Response System (clickers), then Classroom Technology Support, a unit under the Division of Undergraduate Education is the place to go. Carolyn P. Boyd, Dean of Graduate Studies
With the exception of programs conducted by the School of Medicine for the training of physicians, the Dean of Graduate Studies administers graduate education in accordance with academic policies established by the University of California, the Irvine Division of the Academic Senate, and the UCI Graduate Council, a standing committee of the Irvine Division of the Academic Senate. Graduate education includes those students engaged in the pursuit of a master's degree, a doctoral degree, or a teaching credential, as well as individuals engaged in postdoctoral training at UCI. There is no separate graduate faculty at UCI; all graduate work is supervised by academic units and faculty members who have concurrent responsibility for undergraduate education.
Information about graduate education at UCI is published in the UCI General Catalogue, on the Office of Graduate Studies Web site, and in individual graduate program publications. The staff of the Office of Graduate Studies and departmental academic advisors are prepared to answer questions about admission, academic policies and procedures, graduate programs and degrees, financial assistance, student services, and other matters of concern to applicants or graduate students. The Office of Graduate Studies is located in 120 Aldrich Hall; telephone (949) 824-4611; World Wide Web: http://www.rgs.uci.edu/grad.
